Every mate’s job - cutting bait on the way to the fishing grounds ... ... and the never - ending task of rigging ballyhoo. The first bites of the morning. What exactly has Willie hooked? Two gaffer dolphin near the boat. “there are sharks out there!” (3 hammerheads) The sharks have to eat too! Where the Gulf Stream meets the Labrador Current. A hungry shearwater eats the bait. The Albatross II dolphin fishes in large beds of sargassum. A nice wahoo provides a struggle. That is a very nice wahoo indeed! That dolphin will barely fit in the fish box among the yellowfins. One of the many loggerhead turtles we see. A large white marlin puts on a show next to the boat. This blue marlin is about to be released. Mate Sumner unloads a wahoo at the dock. Capt. Bryan’s great day of sailfishing. Someone will eat well with all these dolphin and wahoo. Nice yellowfin photo-op at the end of the day Sailfish on the wire!
